Objective: Creating a new eCommerce brand aimed at showcasing emerging artists from the Middle East and North Africa and selling their art.
Scope of work: Selection of copywriter, enlisting help with story and mission, then building website and creating artist bios, blog, FAQ and other key pages.
Tools and tactics used: Affinity Photo, Squarespace, CSS customizations to Squarespace template
Outcomes: Drove over CAD 6,000 in sales during first six months despite being on Squarespace Commerce, which allows for minimal customization/expansion.

DRIVING CONTENT STRATEGY + CO-EXECUTION OF CONTENT
Objective: Building SEO value of website by creating relevant and engaging content that appeals to key target personas.
Scope of work: Keyword research, topic ideation, content and technical SEO audits
Tools used: Squarespace, SEMrush, Keyword Planner, Google Trends
Outcomes: Continually driving top-funnel traffic and dominating SERP first pages for key search terms and artist names

Store Migration & Optimization
ULL REBUILD OF STORE + CONVERSION RATE OPTIMIZATION
Objective: Benefitting from Shopify’s expandability, I migrated from Squarespace Commerce to Shopify over the course of 3 weeks, while matching the aesthetic of the Squarespace website.
Scope of work: Full customization of Shopify liquid theme, tagging and building collections and filters, and incorporation of payment plans and upsell tools.
Apps used: Shopify, Upsell Funnel, Sezzle Payment Plans,ShopSync, Stamped.io reviews, among others.
Outcomes: Took conversion rate from 0.01% to 0.13%
